Building work is continuing well. The door between the cask washing area and the back of the conditioning room is in the process of being increased in height, from 1.6m to 2m, in order for it to meet current regulations. Some attention has also been given to the roof of the older part of the building, with all the loose slates having been secured back in place. There are now almost no leaks in this area of the building!

Building work in the brewery has finally begun! A trench has been dug to locate an existing drain to which a connection will be made from the drain in the brewing area.

The steam boiler was delivered and partially installed today. This will provide steam for heating water in the Hot Liquor Tank and for boiling the wort in the Copper.

Meanwhile, we are still waiting for the building work to begin. This includes the installation of floor drains and construction of walls for the fermenting room and conditioning room. This will inevitably delay the opening further into the Autumn.
