Purple Moose Brewery ales can regularly be found at the Queens Hotel in Blaenau Ffestiniog which just happens to be adjacent to the top station of the Ffestiniog Railway. The brewery is situated just a few minutes walk from the railway's bottom terminus in Porthmadog and so this week's beer for the Queens Hotel was delivered by train. This cut down the number of road miles for our deliveries and thus played a small part in saving the environment - or perhaps we were just having a bit of fun!

"I'm not putting it on here - it'll get far too warm!"

For the gricers among you the engine is 1979 built 'Earl of Meirioneth' and the beer was carried on 2005 built car 102. (A heritage railway with progress!)
