WELSH HIGHLAND RAILWAY (Caernarfon)
'RAIL ALE' FESTIVAL 11-13th MAY 2007

The third year of the Welsh Highland Railway's highly successful 'Rail Ale' Festival is fast approaching, taking place this year between 11th & 13th May. Once again there will be a large range of beers available to sample in the goods shed at Dinas with several local pubs also involved in the event.

Purple Moose Brewery are proud to once again be brewing the festival special. This year's brew is called 'Moel Tryfan' (pronounced Moyle Truvan), named after one of the railway's original locomotives which, in turn, was named after a mountain close to the line. At 4.0% ABV Moel Tryfan is an amber coloured best bitter with a citrus hop finish.

Previously this beer was awarded Gold in category at the Champion Beer of Wales competition 2006 in Cardiff.
