Two North Wales pubs regularly supplied with Purple Moose beer have recently picked up CAMRA awards.

The Blue Bell in Halkyn has just been awarded Pub of the Year and Cider Pub of the Year 2008 by the Vale of Clwyd branch of CAMRA. Congratulations to Steve Marquis who has added this double award to several previous ones for his pub.

Closer to Porthmadog, the Eryri a Môn branch of CAMRA has awarded its Pub of the Year prize to The Lion in Tudweiliog, on the picturesque Llŷn Peninsula. This is fantastic news for the staff at the pub after what must have been a difficult year last year following the tragic loss of Andrew Lee, who had managed the business for some years. Congratulations to all at the Lion.
