CHAMPION BEER OF WALES 2009

Cwrw Eryri/Snowdonia Ale has been crowned the 2009 CAMRA Champion Beer of Wales at this year's Great Welsh Beer & Cider Festival in Cardiff. All at the brewery are delighted with this particularly significant award, which comes as we celebrate four years of brewing at Purple Moose, and just two weeks after making our 500th brew. This is the first time the Champion Beer of Wales award has gone to a North Wales brewery for twelve years. It is fantastic to bring it home to Snowdonia!

As mentioned above we have now brewed our 500th beer and it was in fact our June special 'Cnicht'. At 4.3% ABV it is full of international flavour with New Zealand and US hops. This is an amber coloured best bitter combining subtle hints of lemon and pine with a floral, spicy finish. Available now in pubs across North Wales.
