Purple Moose Brewery has enjoyed further success with its beers recently in this year's CAMRA Champion Beer of Wales Competition. Cwrw Eryri / Snowdonia Ale won Gold in the 'Bitters' category while Dark Side of the Moose took Silver in the 'Old Ales' category. Otley Brewery's barley wine 'O8' picked up the overall Champion Beer of Wales title for the second time in three years.

The competition was held as part of the CAMRA Great Welsh Beer & Cider Festival in Cardiff. These two awards bring the tally of awards for Purple Moose Brewery's beers to twenty in exactly three years of brewing.

'Cnicht', the special for June, has been selling well with good feedback once again. It is now available in pubs across North Wales.
