CWRW SANTES DWYNWEN/SAINT DWYNWEN'S ALE ABV 4.1%

Cwrw Santes Dwynwen / Saint Dwynwen's Ale is a 4.1% abv. deep red coloured best bitter. For colour and a full body a blend of pale ale malt, dark crystal malt and a hint of roasted barley are used. A delicate mix of Pioneer and Goldings hops are added to the brew for bittering, with the aroma taken care of by the wonderful Polish Lubelski hops.

CALON LAN  ABV 4.3%

Calon Lân is our special brew for the Six Nations rugby tournament. At 4.3% abv it is an amber coloured best bitter with a pleasant fruity hop finish.

CWRW'R PASG / EASTER ALE  ABV 3.9%

Purple Moose's Easter special, only available at, errm, Easter! This is an easy drinking chestnut session bitter with a fruity hop finish.
Available from Monday 4th April 2011.

MILESTONE  ABV 4.0%

The Festival Special for the Welsh Highland Railway's 'Rail Ale Festival', 20th-22nd May 2011. Also Purple Moose Brewery's 1000th brew! At 4.0% Milestone is a copper coloured fruity best bitter with a grapefruit aroma and a nutty background.

IPA  ABV 4.0%

IPA, our special for June 2011, is a very pale bitter, single-hopped with Pacific Hallertau to give hints of toffee and grapefruit in the finish.
Available from Monday 13th June 2011.

COB 200  ABV 3.9%

September 2011 marks the bi-centenary of 'Y Cob/The Cob', the mile long causeway which links Porthmadog with the opposite peninsula, across the Glaslyn estuary. Built by William Maddocks The Cob was officially opened on 17th September 1811.

Purple Moose has brewed a special beer to mark the event and this will be available in several pubs in and around Porthmadog during the course of the 200th anniversary celebrations, as well as further afield.

Cob 200 is a rich amber coloured bitter with hints of orange and caramel.

X-MŴS LLAWEN / MERRY X-MOOSE  ABV 5.0%

Available in both casks and bottles

This fine ale is brewed only at Christmas using a careful selection of darker malts and aromatic hops to produce a full flavour and body, subtle bitterness and a rich ruby colour.
Bottles available from Friday 21st October 2011.
Cask available from Monday 28th November 2011.
